She also stepped up to the plate at the last minute, and volunteered for the entire Halloween event at the Friends of Anne Arundel Animal Control.

Not only was she involved with a drive that raised money for sheltered animals in Annapolis, but she was also awared as a NATIONAL MERIT SEMIFINALIST!!! Congratulations Catherine!

September: This month's member of the month was awarded to Jilly Horeneck. Jilly worked tirelessly to set up the tours for the Freshmen's first day. After organizing the group tours, the BHS administration decided to change up the order of the day so Jilly had to reorganize everyrhing and make sure all the volunteers were on the same page. Thank you for your service Jilly!

Summer Months

Our members went above and beyond this past summer. From designing houses to helping unadopted pets, NHS has been doing it all. We would like to formally recognize several people who have done more than enough to help the community, our school and NHS. The first to be recognized is Emily Insalaco. She endlessly to make sure the Senior Dinner went smoothly. With her efforts, the dinner was a success. Emily also coordinated the Teacher Move In day, which allowed the teachers to set up their classroom easily. Thanks to Emily, every teacher had a helping hand in organizing their classroom for this school year. Next, we would like to recognize Emily Stolarczyk for her efforts to revamp the NHS display case and her enthusiam to help the animals in need at a local adoption center. Finally we would like to give praise to Jilly Horaneck for her continual efforts in setting up the tours for the Freshmen's first day. After working tirelessly to organize the group tours, the BHS administration decided to change up the order of the day so Jilly had to reorganize everyrhing and make sure all the volunteers were on the same page. NHS thanks all of you for making our community, school, and cliub better than it was before.
